Once I had the name of the blog explode into being, I immediately began to think of some fun things I could do to play on the name. And so today I give you the first installment of what I hope is a long running feature, ‘If they were Amish.’ Where we do a full tongue-in-cheek examination of how the world would be different if a certain person was Amish. Hope you enjoy.
If Michael Jordan was Amish…
- the song would be ‘I wanna be like Jedadiah’.
- the NBA All-Star game would be full of those flat black or straw hats.
- average NBA game = Beardapalooza.
- David Stern would have asked him to retire because of his gambling on horseshoes.
- he would have announced his retirement to pursue a lifelong dream of building buggies.
- the NBA dress code would require dressing more like rappers.
- no Space Jam!!!
- you could buy delicious, hand-made Michael Jordan brand jams, jellies, & relishes.
- Charles Barkley would be doing commercials for Hanes.
- we’d see more guys like this…
